As a National Weather Ambassador, preparing someone to become Weather-Ready is what Ambassador's are best at doing. West Virginia was recently hit with a Tornado that left Two Dead, and One Missing according to yesterday's reports. A State of Emergency has been declared due to broken roads, flash floods, and major devastation in the area. When a Tornado strikes, there are funnel clouds nearby that warn local residents to take shelter immediately. Without instructions, you are not Weather-Ready Prepared! Local Newsrooms, Radio Stations, or TV Stations must also take shelter after sending out alert warnings before hazard strikes. The most common approach is "if you might be in danger, then seek shelter immediately." The key to survival during tornado is:

If there is NO BASEMENT, go to the Center of an Interior Room (closet/hallway) at the lowest level of your home.
Get under a Sturdy Table and Do Not Open Windows

Protect Yourself From Falling Objects
If you see a Tornado Approaching and Your OUTSIDE ~ Get into the nearest DITCH or GULLY to protect your head with your arms.
