Expect the temperature in NYC to be 82 degrees today with a low of 72 tonight and a 20% chance of thunderstorms. Friday, however, again 80% chance of heavy rains with high of 80 degrees.

Develop a plan when threatening weather approaches and make sure your insurance policies are up to date! Flash Floods or Flood are also the #1 cause of death associated with thunderstorms. More than 90 fatalities each year have been reported (source: NOAA). A nice GPS compass would assist in detecting when moisture forms in the clouds and rain is predictable along with unstable air that rapidly rises to lift cold and warm fronts of Mr. Sun to trigger a Thunderstorm.
