Water is important nutritionally during extremely hot weather because your body gets too warm and needs to cool off! We as humans are not at our best if our blood vessels do not dilate to allow increased blood flow to the skin. Just the other day there were two children in the News that were severely sun burned due to extremely hot temperatures and lack of proper fluids. Sad! Just remember to keep the skin cool one must hydrate the entire body as the temperatures rises! Hydration can be a problem and can lead to sunken eyes, reduced cognitive abilities, and poor physical coordination.
